Mid-back pain is commonly related to poor posture, but can also be due to physical trauma from a fall, lifting heavy objects in an improper manner, or a direct impact. Respiratory problems, like asthma, can also create stiffness in the mid-back region.

With this condition a typical remedy may include spinal manipulation to relieve surrounding muscle tension. Thinking that rest alone will resolve the problem ignores the aggravating factors that remain unaddressed.
